Central Bank of Cuba (BCC) signed the adhering instrument to the constitutive agreement with the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI)
The signature of such agreement formalizes Cuba entry in this important regional multilateral institution, which will allow to strengthen even more the already broad relations with Central American countries, the signatories assented.(Prensa Latina)

CABEI was created in 1960 and it is a multilateral institution that has as a mission to promote economic integration and balanced development of the countries of such area.
Among CABEI’s founding members are Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua and Costa Rica, while another eight countries are non-founding extra-regional members, and there is one beneficiary member.
