The Cira García,Central Clinic which provides health care services to the diplomatic community accredited in Cuba, foreign businessmen based in Cuba and tourists who travel to the island to get medical attention, is working today to diversify and increase the quality of services in order to compite with other similar centers in Latin America.
A project sponsored by the Ministry of Public Health is aimed at increasing the number of beds and renew technology, so we can achieve a higher level of development,” said its director Joaquin garcia Salabarria.
He said that the institution made nine million convertible pesos in 2014, “a modest contribution to the development of public health and the country,” noted Garcia, who also referred to scientific events held in the clinics, including one to be held soon related to the treatment of patients in serious condition, and another about spinal surgery, both to be attended by foreign experts.
