More than ten companies linked to the tourism industry in Cuba, including cruise lines and four tour operators, some of them with presence in Panama and two in the United States have been removed by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (“OFAC”) of the US Department of the Treasury from the SDN’s list
Individuals and companies owned or controlled by, or acting for or on behalf of, targeted countries. are called “Specially Designated Nationals” or “SDNs.” Their assets are blocked and U.S. persons are generally prohibited from dealing with them.
